Powell Stevenson is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BS in Business Management and is a Certified Safety and Health Manager as well as a Certified Trainer. He spent 18 Years with Scott Paper in various management positions including safety. He also has been the Director of Operations for several medium sized manufacturing companies. From 1994 to 1998 he was with Haddonfield Lumber Company and was responsible for developing their Safety and “Drug Free Workplace” programs. From 1999-2007 Powell was the Corporate Risk and Insurance Manager for Strober Building Supply and He has a strong background in OSHA and D.O.T. Compliance as well as establishing Compliance Programs, Drug Free Workplace Programs, Workers Compensation, injury reduction and Operations Management. Powell has spoken locally and nationally on establishing a “Drug Free Workplace and effective Safety Programs". He is a member of the Steering Committee for The Partnership for a Drug Free New Jersey and a member of The National Safety Management Society, the American Society of Safety Engineers and the National Safety Council.  His background in Safety spans 46 years.  CNA Insurance Company honored him as the Risk Manager of the Year for 2005.
